Country Music at LargeNews and WeatherHarris' Trial Date Set A Dubuque woman, who faces a charge of felony child neglect will stand trial in Dubuque County District Court on October 18th. Authorities charged 32 year old Tamelia Harris with abandonment of a dependent person in the disappearance of her 20 month old daughter Cecilla last June. Remains that were found buried in Harris' backyard by police appeared to be that of a small child. Police are still awaiting lab results to determine the identity of the remains. Depending on that outcome, Harris could face additional charges. According to court records, Harris told a case worker with the Depatment of Human Services that her daughter died following a bad accident and she didn't have a funeral for her.
Changes to Keyline Starting this Saturday, you will see some changes in the Keyline bus service in Dubuque. That will be the first Saturday that the bus system will be using minibuses instead of full sized buses on most fixed routes. During the week, the minibuses are used for paratransit, or "on call" service and take passengers to destinations like doctor's offices and other medical appointments.
